In-wall 380gal tank - cut out options

It's really an epoxy sump :)
The plywood provides the structural strength and is very cheap & easy to form. The magic is in the two part epoxy. I used US Composites because they're the best value.
I didn't use fiberglass - just the bare epoxy applied in layers. Little tedious but cheapest solution other than Rubbermaid stock tanks.

Speaking of which... here's where my corals have migrated:

Marine hull paint on the exterior might also work although it may be more expensive than epoxy, not sure. In either case looks like you built it very well.

I offered it for free on the local reef site... no takers.

Still trying to sell the tank. Even built a new stand with removable wheels for transportation...

Karim, you've thought of everything.

You know, from this angle you somewhat resemble David Duchovny. Trust no one!

Ha ha! Props if you understood that one. :0)

Can't believe nobody wanted the sump. I'd have taken it for sure... and I have nowhere to put it. But I would think of something.

It's actually a quote from the movie "Can't Hardy Wait." :0) But they are referencing X Files of course.

Thx
The thin or thick?
And how much?

I'm planning a 120x48x48" plywood and was checking costs. My last plywood I did with bluemax, which worked well but like the glass look of epoxy better

I took my surface area in square inches, multiplied it by 0.25 (quarter inch thickness) and then multiplied by 0.004329 to concert to gallons.
