It's really an epoxy sump 
The plywood provides the structural strength and is very cheap & easy to form. The magic is in the two part epoxy. I used US Composites because they're the best value.
I didn't use fiberglass - just the bare epoxy applied in layers. Little tedious but cheapest solution other than Rubbermaid stock tanks.
