Inside and Outside tanks?

Just curious, has anyone tried to tie in two tanks, one on the inside, one on the outside of a house?

I currently have a 65 G tank in my basement. I also have a pipe that leads to the outside of the house from the basement. I assume that the pipe is used to regulate the amount of pressure within the house. the Pipe is ~1".

I was kicking around the idea of having a prop tank (15 gallons or so) outside, that's plumbed to the main inside tank. This way, I could benefit from the sunlight outside. Heck, it could be a rubbermaid container.

I assume that the weather would be alot warmer (Summer is upon us!!! ) and that the water would be regulated. Since my main tank is in the basement, it would be cooler durring the days, and warmer during the nights.

Anyone try this?

So..something like this.
Please excuse the mess, I'm not a visual designer...just a programmer. I just make it work.

joelowrider- It would be for the sunlight. Free light, how can you beat that? ;-)

6Speed- This would only be for the summer months. I assume digi's, mushrooms, zoos would grow really fast.
