Just curious, has anyone tried to tie in two tanks, one on the inside, one on the outside of a house?
I currently have a 65 G tank in my basement. I also have a pipe that leads to the outside of the house from the basement. I assume that the pipe is used to regulate the amount of pressure within the house. the Pipe is ~1".
I was kicking around the idea of having a prop tank (15 gallons or so) outside, that's plumbed to the main inside tank. This way, I could benefit from the sunlight outside. Heck, it could be a rubbermaid container.
I assume that the weather would be alot warmer (Summer is upon us!!! ) and that the water would be regulated. Since my main tank is in the basement, it would be cooler durring the days, and warmer during the nights.
Anyone try this?
