Installation advice needed for Iwaki return pump.

I am about to install a new Iwaki return pump to a bulkhead in my glass sump.

Which is the best attachement method for reduction of vibration and noise??

Attach to bulkhead via pvc union joint or barbed connector and vinyl tubing??

use 1" pvc out of the bulkhead and then slip inch and a quarter flexible tubing over that with a hose clanp and the same for the pump itself.The tubing you can get at HD
