Ok. So for the year I've had my tank I have been able to get the 200 gal box for about $50 from Amazon (shipping included with Prime). I just went to order a box and wham. $90!!!! Anyone able to get it cheaper?

That isn't reef crystals

oops.. my fault.. at the pool in the sun :) read IO and didn't catch the RC part..
Their pricing makes no sense.. Could just be a mistake..
The 160 gallon is only $50 so to price the 200G at $86 is stoopid.. (well if you buy it at that price you are stoopid ;) )

Yep and yep

Another reason I'm switching to Fritz. Found it locally for $55 a box, and my UPS man will stop hating me (I live up a flight of stairs). Higher Mg as well

I typically buy my salt from DFS. I thought DFS used to charge about $40 for IO and $50 for RC when it was on sale, but recently the price went up.

Did anyone notice that they (Live Aquaria) are coming out with their own brand of salt? Could the price increase have anything to do with that?

+1 on a probable supply issue. I've seen amazon raise prices on stuff significantly when they are very low on stock. Seems to be a way of not running out of stock, instead customer's just don't buy it because the price goes way up. Generally comes back down after they get more in stock though. I'd just wait or get a box from somewhere else in the meantime.

Looks like Amazon proper is out of stock, so only some of the higher cost vendors have it available. If you look at the IO page, the best pricing goes from:

-Amazon
-Petco
-BisonOffice
-Marine&Reef

Amazon & Petco aren't even an option for Reef Crystals. I'm sure the better price will be back once they restock...
