Interceptor/HeartGuard/Generic

My mom has a generic for heartgaurd and I was told by the vet that Heart Guard and Interceptor or Identical. I was wondering if I could use the Generic heart Guard to treat/dip new corals that I recieve. Have any of you tried this before? Any opinons on using heart guard or its generic? TIA

Why dont you try it on a frag (and ugly frag) and see how the coral responds..

just look at the chemical makeup of the generic pills in comparison to the interceptor pill. The interceptor generic name is (Milbemycin Oxime) so if your generic pill says something else, then you should test, but if its Milbemycin Oxime, you're cool. Sometimes you just pay for the 'name' and you're getting the same thing.
