I hope they have improve the plastic used in those C-clamp. I've had 3 failed in my nano 6055, even the improved (?) version!

Cheers

You would be the first I myself have heard of that an updated one failed on. We run quite a few at the shop and none of the new(new plastic - luran instead of lexan - and tabs with the tear or bump on the backside of each tab) have failed as well as I personally dont know of any of my customers that have with the new that have failed. If nothing else the failure rate on the new is extremely low

The magnet holders will also be availabe for 1" glass and come standard on the bigger pumps.

So a guy like me with a 1.25" thick acrylic tank won't be able to run one of these?
I can't remember if magnets are stronger through glass or acrylic or the same.

I was thinking about this too. They will work on my current tank, but just like everyone else, I am always thinking about an upgrade. I wonder if it is possible to put a stronger magnet on the outside of the tank?

this is the first reef product I have waited on with anticipation... There is going to be a mass shortage I'm sure.

i don't mind helping to work any bugs out and I'll pay for them, but could I get them sooner that way ;)

Due to the problems with the Nano Streams when they came out, we are taking all the time that is needed to check, recheck and triple check every aspect of these new Stream 2's so that we do not run into the same problems again. We have received great feedback and the factory is aware of this, so I am confident there will be plenty to go around.

i would like to see some info on the new return pumps

which pumps are you referring to?

Shawn, i think he was talking about the Tunze master circulation which Roger did mention that the new electronic device need to be more thorough testing.

what about those new skimmer pumps any details like air pull.I think you said 16 watts a pump. Will these be the same pumps that are on the master doc.Can we have some more pics.

I believe the ones on the Master DOC are different as I was told they would pull the same amount of air(800lph from memory) as the current pump but be quieter than the Sicce blocks as well as use only 18 watts.

Dejavu, you may have to wait longer for the new stream pump. I don't think the controllable series will be available till the end of this year
