introduce female blue throat

Hello, I have a male blue throat trigger in a 130 gallon with small bioload. Hes been in the tank for just over a month. Doing really well. I was thinking of getting a female. Just wondering if this is possible? Will he attack her or will they get along great? How should I introduce her to the tank? Thanks

Just drop her in...it should work. No guarantees though.

The smaller the established trigger the easier to add a new one. I would use either eggcrate or put the female in a container to separate for 2-3 days to allow them get use to each other.

I bought a pair that was 3.5 and 3.25" where the female was chasing the male around the first couple of weeks then the chasing subsided. Both are doing great now.
