Is a 75 Gallon tank too heavy for my apartment?

hello all!! I’m soon going to move into an apartment after it finishes construction in April and I will be on the third floor. I’ve already decided that I want to add a 75 gallon axolotl tank but I’m worried about the weight of it. Does anyone know if apartments are built to support that much weight? My sister suggested I stay on the first floor if I want a big tank, but I would prefer not to. Thanks in advance :)

They usually allow them if you’re on the first floor. It may get denied solely being above others.

New construction, the floor will hold it without issue… the landlord/lease is a different issue. I would prefer 1st floor convenience and evacuation safety, but that’s me.

If won’t be a problem, the apartment managers may have a problem because of possible water damage.
