Is an Apex aquabus cable the same as a USB cable?

Is an Apex Aquabus cable the same as a USB cable or is it pinned differently?
Has any one tried it?

USB cable. A quick Google search will confirm it.

Yes USB cables will work just fine as long as you don't get cables with any kind of boosters or filters in them.

It is sometimes difficult to find the dual male ended USB cables though. If I need longer, I just use an extension to the aquabus cable.

There is a supplier listed in the Apex manual also.

From what I remember, the two important things are: no boosters, and no plugging USB devices into it.
