I don't want to go Ca Reactor/Co2. Is it enough to supply Ca only by limewater?
Nobody will know the answer to this except you.
It depends on how fast Ca/alk is depleted in your system.
You'll need to monitor Calcium and alkalinity levels with reliable test kits while regularly dosing limewater.

Not only that, but it will change as your tank matures. A tank full of small frags may be just fine, but a year down the road, you may not be able to keep up with the calcium needed to maintain them.

I'm finding the answer to be NO for me. I have about 20 small SPS frags in my 125 and drip limewater 24/7 for topoff. I have been using Dr. Farley's 2 part recipe for only a couple of days now, as my Alk and Ca were getting a bit low. I use BioSea Marine salt which measures about 440 Ca upon making a fresh batch, so I know it's getting used up. I will be making the switch to Marine Environment salt after my next water change. A calcium reactor would be great, but it's just not in the budget right now (and won't be for the forseeable future), so I have to do this on a budget.

I am currently using limewater, once a week I test and add a little 2 part to make up for what the lime water couldn't.

But this is my tank, your needs may be different depending on your tank's CA and ALK demand.

I use a dual dosing pump to dose Randy's DIY 2 Part. It doesnt get any easier/cheaper than this folks. So long as you dosing pump has room to increase/decrease output (mine can go MUCH farther both ways) it will handle any need you have.
