Is MARINE GOOP safe?

I am making a custom fuge and was wondering if marine goop is safe.
Will this leach chemicals into my water?

you want to use household; the marine has antimicrobial stuff in it.

I used marine goop (a la snailman's skimmer design) to build my DIY skimmer. No problems.

I read the label again and it doesn't say that it has anti-mircrobial stuff in it. Just says uv resistant. Any one else ever use this?

I've allready used it to glue in the bubble baffles

But you should be fine, most people use the household vs. the marine because iit is actually stronger glue.

I've used it many times, but now i can't find it any more in the hd store, i even tried to go to the web site and can't find it, where did you find it, can i ask??

i use Goop in over 60 tanks since 1992. its fine for aquariums but you can not get it wet untle it drys 24 Hours. it way out last sillicon but it a little harder to work with. heres a secret, all goop is the same, just defferent lables to get you to buy more and get more shelf space. as of last month they had it at lowes and HD.
