Is Novus 1 safe to use on the inside of a tank?

I am getting ready to fill my acrylic tank and wondered if it is safe to use Novus 1 to clean the inside as well as the outside before I fill it. There is some crud from the fresh water tests runs I did on the inside as well as some Teflon pipe sealer that came off my pump and stuck to the inside.

I read somewhere that you can use novus 2 and 3 to buff out scratches under water so I assume they are safe but I'm not sure about 1.
