Is there a best kind of X10 module to purchase?

I bought some on ebay. Curt has them for sale also.

We no longer sell X10 equipment. I recommend using our direct connect boxes instead as they are more reliable.

Thanks Curt, my problem is that I'll most likely have too many outlets going and I'd like to be able to add a few more at a reasonable cost. I'm thinking of putting a few non-critical things on X10 to save buying a whole DC4 or DC8 that I can't use (12 port limit).

Can I run X10 and a DC8 simultaneously?
