Is there a way to make a closed loop with out drilling?

In the future Id like to have a closed loop system. But I wont beable to drill the tank, so my idea was (and im not sure if it will work) Get like a 400 gph pump, plumb it with 3/4" pvc out of tank, run it through SCWD and then back into tank with thoes locline fittings.
Would that work?
