Is this a baby serpent star?

I threw in some shells when I was tranfering tanks, and I noticed this on one of the shells. Is it a little serpent star?

Microbrittle star. They stay that size.

wow, didnt know that there was a microbrittle star. I saw about two of these while I was doing the tank transfer.

if you saw 2 you most likely have more . i have them in my nano rarely see them however one day the were just popping out all over the place counted like 8 off them.

most likely you have hundreds you don't know about, I was cleaning my tank and looked like a nest of them floating around.
