If you look at the mode of shipping, it says "media mail", 2-9 days. Well, by the time you get it, you'll have to cure it all over again and you know it's gong to smell horrible! To ship 50 lbs. of rock from New Jersey would cost ALOT more than $18.79 to get it here in a reasonable amount of time (overnight?).

Also, the seller only has 3 feedback scores and none of them are for live rock so you can't get an indication from others that have bought from this seller whether it's good stuff or not.

My opinion is that if you want to buy on ebay, there are plenty of sellers in the Tampa area selling for around $2.24 a pound and you know you'll get it quick and they have very good feedback and been around for a while.

Just go to Coral Reef Farm and pick out some nice peices that YOU can choose that will be perfect size YOU want.

When I first started in this hobby I ordered from a few reputable online stores and the rock just wasn't for my system. I could get them to stand up right because of there shapes, a few rocks were not figi as I ordered... etc...etc

Just drop the extra $30 and get the cream of the crop that you know will fit and work in your tank because you can hold it and put it together at the LFS. I recommend Coral Reef Farm, they always have great prices and there live rock selection is great.

Pat used to carry really nice Tampa Bay Saltwater rock, always nice and full of critters, sponges, caulerpa, nice stuff. Not at bad prices either. I would call to check though as I dunno if he still carries it.

if youre looking for tampa bay rock go to www.tbsaltwater.com they have awesome feedback from their customers and from what i hear you always get hooked up with extra goodies, alot of small starfish, crab, dusters, sponge etc on the rock. Only thing is you get mantis shrimp and gorilla crab along with it sometimes, so youll have to fish those out of the rock.
Dont go by my word though, ive never bought there... just telling you what Ive heard and whats on their site. Check out some pics off thier site and off thier forum on here for yourself.
