Is this a good guy or a pest. Help ID the critter.

Hello,

I found this creature in my filter sock today. I am not sure exactly what it is. My tank is mostly SPS so I want to see if I can get an ID on it before I release it back into the main tank.

I can't tell if its a slug or a mite of some sort.

I have one of those......it's never bothered anything. It comes out at night and grazes on the rockwork. I think it is a slug or nudibranch of some sort. I don't know if it can release toxins if it dies.

Sorry I can't ID it but I can tell you it is "reef safe" at least in my tank

Looks like some sort of Scutus sp: http://www.seaslugforum.net/factsheet.cfm?base=scutus If so, they are algae grazers...so I would put it back and hope for more.
