Is this an in sump or out of sump skimmer?

I am looking to upgrade my Viaaqua multi skimmer and want to use a in sump skimmer. I made a sump/fuge out of a 20G tank. Total system volume will be about 40-45 gallons. This is what i was thinking.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thats "out of sump" skimmer. You'll need to feed it with a pump that does about 1.5x your total volume.

So...........

1.5x40 = 60gph
1.5x43.5 = 65.25gph
1.5x45 = 67.5gph

Look at the Euro-Reef RS80.

I think i might go with the RS100. Think its worth the extra 40 bucks?
