the pic is heavily over exposed and hard to see…

to me it looks as though the mushroom has expelled its guts….this is generally not a good thing.

that said it may have eaten something it didn't like and is having a hard time getting it out and could recover…i have never had a mushroom recover after spilling its guts though

The slime coating is spreading, I'm going to try dipping it again
