Looking through this forum I see a lot of people need help with their BTAs. Well, here is one more...
I added a BTA a little over a month ago and at first it seemed happy and fine but since last week it has refused to eat and seems to be hiding from the light. It is bleaching pretty bad and the tentacles are pretty shriveled.

The tank is a 120 with eight T5s.(set up for almost a year) All water parameters are fine.

Is there anything I can do or just wait to see?

It has been losing colour for the last two weeks or so. ( mostly last week) It never did have the stickiness to eat right. It would eat but I had to keep putting the food back in. It was a mail ordered nem if that helps any.

The best thing you can do for them is leave them alone and allow them to adjust on their own.

What are you feeding it?
Do you have any other fish or inverts in the tank, including shrimp?
Do you have a pic?

EDIT::

Oops, for some reason I thought you were moving it around sorry I need to learns to readz betters.

I have been feeding it mysis, plankton and whatever else I feed the fish. I have two perculas, two yellow tangs, four B/G chromis and a coral banded shrimp. I don't think it has eaten well since last week. Photo tomorrow if needed.

No I haven't moved it and basically I've just left it alone.

sorry, I know there is no magical fix. Just wanted to know I was doing everything I could to help this critter.

That is a lot of light --- did you acclimate it to your lights?

It is important to acclimate new anemones to your lights, even more so when ordering them online --- shipping stress.

At this point I would suggest putting some layers of window screening b/t the tank and your lights. I have always used 3 layers with removing a layer every 5-7 days.

No I didn't. I did leave the lights off for a while after add it but I was told that the lighting was weaker than the MH he was kept under. (people need to understand t5s better) I did place a rock in an area that shaded the nem after I noticed it hiding from the light. It can hide or get as much light as needed this way. I will try the screen over it if you think it would help.

Today it is still open and the areas with the most light have color but it refuses to eat.
