OK I just bought a milwaukee PH 600
I cal. it to 7.0 AND to 10.0 in each solution.
My question is afterwards when I first turn it on
what should it read? 0? or some type of number
because when I do first turn it on it reads like a
different number. Does it matter? when I stick it back in the cal. solution it reads correct
The direction with it assume user knows all and I dont lol...
any direction would be helpful.
Also it says to store wet should I store it in the PH solution or just di water? and how wet keep it it water or just so the probe is wet?
thanks

I used to store mine in the tank.

I used to store mine in the tank.

The reading you get is what the ph of your tank is. If it's reading goog in the test solutions you are ok.

I also used to keep mine on all the time, so I could tell ph at a glance.

The 'air' reading isn't relavant. As long as it's calibrated correctly, you should be able to drop the probe in your tank and take a reading.

There is storage solution you can buy, or just store it with a bit of ro water on a piece of paper tower in the cap to keep it from drying out.

If you go to the Milwaukee web site there is a link for technical tips, about 1/2 down there is info for pH testers.
