just got a 6000 for my 75 - awesome

i had been pretty hesitant thinking a 6000 would be too much flow for my 75 gallon mixed reef.

i have about 100 lbs of rock, and 2-3 inches of sand. it's been set up for ~ 2 years.

the flow is perfect. i run it with the single controller (7091) and a photocell. not too much flow at all, even with the 6000 wide open.

my fish and corals love it.

i was really pleasently surprised at how incredibly quiet the pump is (it's in the living room so quiet is important).

a really well engineered product!

Yes, info on corals please. Im wanting one also, but not at te expense of my non-sps corals

sps - birds nest and montipora (montipora seems to double in size every few months)

lps - favia (lower in tank - does not mind flow)

soft - leather coral (loves flow pointed right near it gets bigger every day!), xenia (grows like weed irrespective of flow) and star polyps (happier with flow)

i have a green mushroom rock that is less happy with the new flow. it's the only thing in the tank that is not noteably happier with flow from tunze.
