Its a 250 watt se hamilton 14k. I currently have it 10" from the top of the water line. I am going to run it for 4hrs a day for a week. Do you guys think that the height and photo period are ok?
Actually I noticed a 2 degree drop because I removed the canopy which had 4 65 watt pc's. I think that evaporation is going to be a slight problem because im already losing quite a bit of water.
LOL! I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to start on my sump this weekend, but the dude who cut my glass cut 2 peices too long, so we'll see what happens. The peices are about 1/16" to long.
You can probably angle them just slightly, the silicone should still hold ok (I would think). G/L with sump construction. I need to get back to work on my canopy, all the pieces are cut and sanded. I need to assemble and stain now.
