Just messed up my new 150g drilling.

So I just drilled my new tank for a ghost inspired overflow. I had a few angles with euro bracing and lip on tank that made it more difficult to measure but I measured so many times before drilling. The internal overflow box is around 1/4" off. The top teeth are 7/16 from the top of the tank. I am afraid the overflow box is installed to high. Super upset right now as I cant believe I was off with my drilling. Am I being paranoid? Did leave enough room? Thanks for any input.

What is it to the bottom of the teeth? How much flow were you planning to run. The lower the flow the lower the water level. You could also use a dremel and cut the teeth deeper.

Teeth are around 1-1 1/4. I have not actually measured.

Not exact on flow as I will have a gate valve on my return to fine tune. Ive got to figure out the sweet spot for the overflow and bean.

1" to 1 1/4 to bottom of teeth, you will be fine.
