So just placed a Petco order. Went with a variety. Only “needed” the sea hare but ordered enough to get free shipping. Should be here Tuesday. Note all of the items were on sale so I did not pay the retail prices listed below.

So quick update. From speaking with others and after getting my shipping confirmation, I can confirm that Petco ships directly from their wholesaler and ships Next Day Air Saver which is not guaranteed before a certain time.
Alright. So everything came in alive at 1:03 PM.
The good:
The Sea Hare came in nice and large (3-4 inches)
The Diamond Gobies - came in on the smaller to medium side - 2-3 inches. Appear fairly plump.
The Red Goniopora - came in fairly good size - took up most of the 1.5” frag plug
The Bad:
The hairy mushroom - based on the pic and answers to questions - appears it should have been 2-3 polyps on a small rock. While not fully expanded, what came in was a dime size mushroom on a 1.5 inch frag plug.
The coral shipping - Each coral was packed loose in the bag with a another bag loosely wrapped around it. It left some to be desired but everything appears to have arrived alive.
All in all, I’ve reached out to Petco to see what they can do about the mushroom. Definitely would not have paid what I paid for something like what I received.

That’s a bummer the mushroom was so small. What did Petco say? Looks like the rest of the stuff was nice though.
So Petco refunded the mushroom
One of the Diamond gobies jumped and the sea hare has died (died shortly after laying eggs which from research is quite common) but was effective for the time I had it.

That’s good they refunded you for the mushroom. Sorry to hear about the goby jumping ship. I’ve got a fish in my freshwater tank that loves to play hide and seek and gives me a heart attack every time I can’t find him. Still haven’t figured out where he hides though. I’ve moved stuff and can’t find him then a couple hours later he’ll be swimming around.
