Hi tmz, Looks like I doing the same 24/7 dosing with the exception of the vinager boost. Im beginning to question me the vinager chemistry effect to mantain the alk part in balance.

Not sure what you mean. There is no chance vinegar addition is causing imbalanced addition of calcium and alkalinity from limewater.

That said, inadequate dosing of calcium and alkalinity always shows up first as low alkalinity, since there is so much less of it in seawater.

Just to be clear, I dose the vinegar and vodka directly to the system . I don't use it t boost the limewater.

Here we go:

After 11days with Kalk/Vinager only (15tsp Kalk /1cup vinager per 5gallon) the parameter are holding steady at:

Cal 480 (Salifert)
Alk 7.392 (Hanna Checker)
PH 8.3 day and 7.9 Night

Only change increased Mag from 1230 to 1290.
