Kent Salt??

I have been suffering from a low Alk and high Cal in my tank and I just tested my water change water which is Kent salt mixed with Ro water to 1.026, I got the following results.

Alk= 5.4
Cal= 530

These were tested with a Salifert test kit and seem a little out of whack to me what do you think??

Whether that is within "normal' specs for Kent, I don't know, but it isn't too far off of some other salts (like Oceanic) that seem to excessively boost calcium.

I'd look to let the calcium drop and maintain alkalinity with baking soda for a while.
