kenya tree corals

If you want to get rid of them completely, your going to have to use some force and try to pull them from the rocks. Any tissue left behind will most likely grow back though. Another option is to cut them as close to the base as you can, and then smother the remainder with some epoxy. GL.

Be careful when you scrape off ...I did once and they came back stronger than ever...ended up placing a mushroom in it and melted it away...kind of stressful but it work...I currently have afew in my tank...still a cool look to have a couple..

If you are looking to simply cut them back, scissors. Treat them like a plant, just lop off whatever branches need pruning.

If you want an extreme cut back, just lop them off at the base. They'll regrow relatively quickly.

For complete removal... that's a bit more of a pain but what the others have mentioned is a good place to start.

Any little piece that floats away will root and become a new specimen...They are cool to look at but will get annoying...Like was said before...chop it off at the base and either cover it with epoxy or melt it with kalk paste. Or try to get someone who actually wants it to take the entire thing.
