Kole tang has a Grudge againts Engineer Gobies..

I think my Kole Tang is mad at my Engineers. I don't know what they did to him. What he does is everytime he needs to expel his waste products (which are quite large) he does it right in their burrow. He just swims down to the entrance and lays a big one right down their burrow. I have observed this behavior a month ago, and just thought it was a coincidence, but he does it ALL the time. Is my Tang Weird? Does he have excessive manners and uses their burrow as a lavatory? The world may never know. That's what I love about tangs.

My Kole, doesn't crap on anyone...but he absolutely does not like my Lawnmower blenny. Anytime they see eachother the Kole goes after it and the Blenny swims for his life. It's been that way for a year now.

Same for me...I learned that my kole tang is "racist" against gobies and blennies. Before I had my lawnmower blenny, my kole tang did the same exact thing you were describing...it started excreting its wastes right in front of the small PVC piping my diamond goby called its home. Now that my lawnmower blenny has joined the tank, the kole tang gets its jollies harrassing the lawnmower blenny. The blenny has found a safe-haven behind the overflow box.... =/

My kole tang has killed a lawnmower also. He is fine with my Midas.
