i know the baisics (placed on substrate and in good flow and has a good light on it. ) it was purchased a few days ago and is very happy as it has blown up bigger than it was at LFS. anyways any tricks or info to help my success with this coral. i have sps experience as well as a mature reef tank with striving corals(soft and hard). thanks all!:D

My LPS seem to like bits of squid. Or at least they will eat them without spitting it back out or complaining. ;)

so i assume the tenticles are stickey and i just place them there or better yet in the center of the disc? right

I'm not sure how it works on an LT, but on an ST there is cilliary action. You can put a piece of food on part of the polyp and it'll slowly move up toward and into the mouth like an escalator ride...

on an LT i'd think it'd be like frogspawn or something similar so my *guess* would be to place it near the mouth and the tentacles can probably do the rest?
