Hi I'm planning on making a large capacity mixing station with either a 275 gallon square tote or multiple 55 gallon plastic barrels. All of them had concentrated flavoring for juice. So no chemicals ever what woul the process you would take to clean them so that I could mix saltwater safely in them thanks.

vineger soak for a for few hrs n get a scrubber of some sort to scrub the walls with that same solution of water n vinager

Fill it up with water and drop a couple gallons of bleach into it. Use a couple powerheads to recirculate the water in it for a couple days. Drain it out, rinse it with fresh water and allow it to air dry. It should be good to go after that.

A few years back, I used a couple 55G plastic drums that were used for some sort of sugar liquid and did the same thing. The containers came out like new and worked great for my RODI and salt water mixing tanks.

Ok so I picked up 3 55 gallon plastic drums today used for 2 raisin juice and one vinegar. Got all 3 for a whopping 3 total dollars for all of them lol. So I'm going to go with vinegar for its amazing cleaning capabilities and lack of chemicals ever coming in contact with my containers. So how many gallons of vinegar per barrel full while mixing and setting for a few days ?
