I have only had this leather for about two months, and in the past two weeks it has started shriveling up. Today I noticed it laying on the other side of the tank in the sand where it had fallen off its rock and the current took it away. Does this sound familiar to anyone? My parameters are fairly constant. My anemones, LPS and softies look great, so I am not sure what happened.

Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10-20 depending on how close it is to water change time
and all of my reef tests (Calcium, etc.) are always within the recommended range.
Does anyone have an idea as to what went wrong?
