leather toadstool chomped by crab!

I need advice my supposed to be reef safe orange hermit crab chomped on my toadstool leather coral. I love that leather toadstool! It is missing a chunk around the rim for lack of the proper name and a large surface type wound on the stalk.

Any advice on what to do to help it heal?

Take the crab out (I'm sure you already have) and the toadstool will heal on its own if your water quality is okay. Good luck!
