I don't have one of these monitors but I remember when I was reading about them leaving the probe in the water was not recommended. Is yours accurate? I have pretty much quit buying Pinpoint monitors except for pH. I have tried Salinity and NO3 but found them not to be accurate at all.
depends what your trying to do, if you want to controll ca reactor then it needs to be in the reactor.
if you just want to monitor ph you can put it just about anywhere
you cant let the probe go dry, thats when you have issues.
