led drivers

Looking for a constant led asap wether it be a meanwell or buckpack. I have multiple meanwell 60-48p if anyone needs them. Only need to run 8 leds. Thanks

you dont have to use a controller with the P series drivers. its a PWM dimmable driver, however you CAN use 0-10v to dim. I currently have our cree setup using a 9v walwart on the dimmer circuit.

Take the positive and negative from your walwart and hook it up to the Dim+ and Dim- (pos to pos, and neg to neg) thats all I did, obviously make sure the output of the walwart is around 9-10V...

Really I tried and it and it hasnt worked. Would u mind trying to wire up?

There's a couple of pieces of vital information missing - what is the forward voltage and operating current of the leds ?

And you say you are using 8 leds, correct ? In series ?

Also keep in mind that the ELN 60-48 requires voltage on the DIM circuit to operate, so if there is no voltage there your leds will not light. James' suggestion is a good quick fix, but I would strongly advise that you check the output of the walwart with a voltmeter before using it as they are notorious for bad voltage control. As an example, I have one that initially provided the required 12v, but after a few months it drifted to 17v which could damage the pwm circuit on the Meanwell.

Imagine the poor saps that have to hear us in regards to whether or not LED MH or T5 is better for color and growth of our sps, and will the PAR cause them to bleach or our LPS to retract, or maybe it has more to do with the NO3 and PO4 concentration... As I type this I realize that my browser has most of the terms underlined for spelling corrections lol.

And see that comment right there in the wrong place might get you in trouble lol
Srry total thread hi jack

Have you had any luck with your drivers?
