Any suggestions on LED moon lights? They could b retro or a unit. Also what is recommended for my 90g as in bulb count. I like the ones mr badams showed me. Found em at a great price online but seeing what my options are.
It depends on your preference. A 1 watt blue led puts out more light than you would think. Two of those 1 watt units would give a 90 a slight glow, but some people like it brighter. They now have the multi-led modules and they are not too expensive. Check the wattage of the LEDs and compare that to ones you have seen. That may be easier to get the amount of moon light that you prefer.
I saw these but the reviews are mixed. Some are fine some burn out. I've seen the "hidden led light" by marineland at petco. I'm wanting something sleek and that could easily be concealed

I think im gonna start with a 5x1watt blue strip n go from there. They are space 2" apart n throw a good angle of light. When do your MLs come on? I've heard 1 hr before the lights go off - 2-3 hrs after. Also heard right before the lights go off - 1 hr after. Or is this just preference?

I have mine come on as the actinics are going off. My actinics are brighter than the LEDs, so I don't see any reason to burn them while your other lighting is active.
