Leds for 75 galons on a budget

Hey!

I've got a 75gal mixed reef that is 8 months old. My current lightning setup is 6XT5ho's with individual reflectors. Color combination is 1 giesemann actinic plus , 2 blue plus, ati true actinic, ati blue plus, and a red light tube.

I got softies, lps, sps and macro in the system. I'd would like to make or buy some led lights on a 400 budget.

What do you recomend on the led kits will 90 be more than enough or should i go up to 120? and what color combinations would favour my reef and give it nicer looks??

or the premade lamps are a better option, value?

rapidled.com will give you advice too, how many bulbs you needs, etc. and they're the chepaest around that I've found

400 is cutting it close but the premium dimmable kit at rapidled is what youre looking for. Id get the dimmable pot kits as well

The chinese led thread has nice lights that use the same aquastyle bridgelux leds that can fit your budget.

I contacted one of the suppliers and they helped me out greatly I'm goin with a dimmable 48 cree led setup. Thinking of using 2, 6X20 heatsink with fans, 24 leds on each one.

Colors per lamp; 10 whites (5 yellowish, 5 cool white), 8 blues (4 royal, 4 blue), 2 uv, 2 red, 2 green

What do you guys think? with 80 degree lenses? still don't know if D or P drivers...

I'd say go with the Chinese LED. There is a huge thread going on for the LED light with dimmable feature. You can get 2 of D120 for under $400 and it will cover your 4ft tank nicely.

I would recommend going for CREE leds, I've seen tanks lit by chinese leds and they didnt convince me, you can definitely see a difference between CREE's and chinese leds... or the fixtures I've seen are just not made correctly, who knows...

I got CREE's and Im happy with them

I saw some pictures at the chinesse led fixtures and didn't like the color to much, do you have them and do you have pictures?
