My LFS in Seekonk Mass. gets them in a lot. Called Coral Reef and their site is www.inverts.com

Man 150 for any clam seems a bit much. I can get a 3" gold maxima here for $37. And really nothing is more than $50, even larger croceas and maximas! Sheesh!

i guess you better not come to NYC, small blue maximas here are well over $100

for some reason live stock here in NYC is the highest of any in the country. You dont want to know how much so called rare corals and fish cost.

Hmm... clams commonly collected are quite near my area thus price definately are much cheaper.. BUT i would not pay a low price for a lousy clam but i would definately pay alot more for a clam i like. for example black TEAR DROP maxima
