Lettuce slugs for Bryopsis

Anyone has some lettuce slugs that eat bryopsis? I'm beginning to have a problem in my 28 gallon tank.

Was hoping to go this route before trying kent tech M.

I was just speaking with someone about this recently and they said that they had luck with Mexican Turbo Snails eating bryopsis. I have no personal experience so can't vouch for this info.

Yeah I've tried lettuce slugs..good for gha..not bryopsis

I tried to use them without much success. They kept finding their way into my sump - and there are two types of nuisance algae that both look like bryprosis - and they don't it that kind so its a little hit or miss.

they eat algae like crazy.. I don't think they touch bryopsis.. you won't see them again after a month or two..

I read the mexican turbo thread too. Put 5 large ones in my tank. I'll see how they do

i may try one of both? i don't have a huge tank so i think i should only add 1 turbo snail. i also have around 3-4 trochus snails, a ton of florida and mini ceriths, some nerites too. none of them seem to touch the bryopsis or GHA.

i was reading this thread that claimed lettuce snails were great for bryopsis.

Please try one at a time so you get a better idea who did the job for you. (Obviously you won't know about the second option if the first option knock it out for you.)

There's one type from pacific and one from Atlantic it seems.

Yea from what I saw maybe it's the Atlantic one that people think rest bryopsis?
