LF a 75 gal tank

Looking for a 75 gal tank that doesn't have a cross brace to be turned into a sump

I have a 90 gal.

acrylic, not the prettiest looking but perfect for a sump

I was scoping out a 75 gal today at a LFS and that is probably as tall as I would want to go.

I also was looking at Stock tanks at a feed store in AJ, seeing if they were an option. They were about the same price as a brand new 75 gal tank...WTH!

although mine has the black back panel.

was drilled for CL but they have been sealed with acrylic sheet and also has a over flow box on the top right corner, can be easily removed and sealed.

what is the tank wall thickness?

What are your thoughts on cutting off the top 6 " of the tank?

considering it is euro braced aswell.. i'd say it be fine as a sump, considering you will be adding baffles which will act as a brace

with the brace there it did bow

the acrylic is 1/4"
