Lighting For 100g

I currently have 4 X 55W compact fluorescent lights on my tank, and I want to change to T5. How many lights would I need and what spectrum for soft corals? I have looked at the Tek Light fixtures that hold 4 54W bulbs, but would that be enough light? Also, my tank is about 24" deep.

we recently put a t-5 teklight from sunlight supply on our 58 gallon frag tank. it has 6 24watt bulbs and is doing an amzing job on everything from acros to xenia. we run 3 actinic and 3 10k. for a 100 gallon i think 4-54watts should be sufficient but because t-5 are relatively new to me, you might want to get a second opinion

i think we are going to get a 6 lamp. Where should I buy the fixture from? Ebay ok? Also, what brands are good besides tek light?

SLS TEK and Aquatincs are pretty much the only hoods worth getting. The cheapo units without individual reflectors are not worth it.
