lighting for macro

I have a 33 watt flourescnet light from Home Depot. It is called the Sho N' Gro. I have some extra money lying around and want to upgrade to pc's. My fuge is a 10 gallon. I was thinking power compacts like 28 watt but is this gonna be good. Also what bulb would I get?

www.ahsupply.com has some nice DIY retro kits.
28w 6700K or 10000K will work fine. Unless it's a deep water finicky algae, 6500-6700K does fine.
I use 110w on a 2ft long tank but I don't need this much to grow most of the algae I keep.
Most folks are much happier when they upgrade to pc's.
