Lighting question : parrallel or perpendicular reflector for MH on big tank ?

I've jus recently finished constructing a 72(l)*36(w)*30(d) inch tank.

I am planning on mounting 3 MH bulbs over it but I'm not sure whether to go with one reflector mounted parralle to the tank or 3 reflectors ,on for each bulb mounted perpendicular to the front face?

The opening space above the tank is 24 * 60 because of the 6" eurobracing.

Any recomendations ?

I would suggest using Luminarc reflectors. They will give you the best spread to cover your 36" wide tank.

They are about 20" square.

I agree with Auroradave. I have the same size tank being delivered this week and I'm going with 3 luminarc III's with cooling option and 400watt bulbs and vho supplaments. I'm going to have sps and lps. You wont need 400's but maybe 250's do to the 30" depth. If you do a 14K bulb you wont even need vho's.
