I know there are many factors and a broad answer is not inclusive; however, just looking for a general idea on what the 'target' PAR levels are for SPS and LPS. I'll be lighting a shallow reef [approx. 15" water depth]. The fixture I am considering will give me 400 - 550 PAR at 6" below water surface and 250 - 300 PAR on the bottom.
Will that suffice for SPS up high and LPS down low?
