will a Tek T-5 HO 4x54 be enough light for my 90 gallon 48x18x24 i have mainly zoo's , shrooms and a couple of lps at the top

Thanks

for that much you may have to move the lps down, that is a lot of light.
I have a pair of 36" dual normal coralife t5's and gorgonians, finger leathers , mushrooms, zoo's that are in upper half of 150 which is 30" deep. are all out and happy.. THat you are talking bout is about 4 times the light output if not more.. The coralife's i'm using has a parabolic reflector not individual reflectors.

im currently running 4x65 watt pc's and things seem to be going well... I cant wait to get my new lights especially after seeing those pics

well i got my light fixture and i decided to use the following light combo

Pure Actinic
Aquablue+
Actinic+ (darker then the other actinic's)
Pure Actinic

should that be ok for my 90 gallon 24" deep or should i replace an Actinic for a Aquablue+

Pure Actinic
Aquablue+
Aquablue+
Pure Actinic

all responses are greatly appreciated thanks

We have a 75g with 6X54 T5 in individual reflectors. It is a very tight fit, but the tank is an LPS tank with some softies. Everything in the tank grows like crazy. Some of the LPS are high in tank, just need to acclimate them to the high light.

This tank is at my girl's office and she takes care of it. I am not sure the current bulb config, but I believe it is 3 actinics and 3 60/40s. It is mostly personal preference, though I believe that growth is stimulated more by the yellower light, while the bluer look makes the colors really cool. We also have 3 clams in this tank, 2 croceas and 1 maxima. They have all grown a bunch.

Thanks!!! IM glad i got a couple bulbs of each i guess IM going to replace an Actinic with a daylight... i just preferred the bluer crisper look over the yellow
