lighting questions

I have a 50g tank and was wondering if a 250w metal halide with 2 24w t5's would be wnough lighting to power an sps/acro tank.

Si. Just remember that sps also like strong flow, very clean water, good/high calc and alk, and a stable mature tank. But, yeah your lighting sounds perfect.
