im about to go out and by a better light for my tank cuz i just have a small one right now thats not the size of the tank. i have a 20gal fowlr tank, no fish yet tho, still cycling. what kind of light and how many watts is recomended?

if its gonna be a FOWLR... you can do PC's. About 3 watts per gallon would be good.

DO NOT TURN ON THE LIGHTS DURING CYCLING!

You are going to keep it a FLOWER? If so you can use any lighting you want. From the strip lighting that often comes with a tank for that matter. All depends on how bright you want it, and if you are after a certain color/look.
