Im starting a 50 gallon tank (36X18X19) and was thinking about getting some clams eventually. I think if i get MH that temo could be a problem and i was wondering if 4X96W PC would be good enough. I would just like to have some other peoples opinions on the matter. Thank you very much, i apreciate everybodys help.

I would have at least one 250w halide. make you canopy heat friendy with fans and vents or holes. If heat is a problemm run your tank with halide for a few hours at the coolest part of the day. You may have luck with pc but halides are the best. 4 95w pc are gonna add heat also. fans work good. If your really worried try 175w or better yet 150w hqi
