Lionfish in Reef Tank

Does anyone keep lionfish in their reef tank? I have one now for 3 months. So far, its hasnt bothered the shrimps.

It will probably will eat your shrimps, damsel and clownfish when time come

I have a lionfish the shrimp for sure will be toast. Clown it depends on size but yeah maybe dinner soon. Damsels will be a snack.

I have a maroon clown and got him same time and doing well together. The first thing is trying to get them to eat frozen. I haven't had any luck on that part yet. I feed mine every 2 days ghost shrimp and/or guppies. Thinking of breeding Mollies. I have a fuzzy lion by the way.

Freshwater fish don't break down quick enough in the digestive track of lionfish and will slowly starve to death if that is the only source of food.

it's a fuzzy dwarf lionfish. Hopefully it wont touch the shrimps once it reaches 6 inches full length. so far, it eats only ghost shrimps.

Been there, done that, had no issues for years and I strongly believe it depends on the fish and keeping them well fed. It's going to be hit or miss. Mine was a fuzzy dwarf btw
